the Thani-Oladunjoye Older People Care Center has on Thursday concluded a successful cataract surgery for 16 elders in Epe.
According to a press statement issued on Friday, the beneficiaries were given free medications and glasses to aid the healing process.
Speaking after the successful surgical operation, one of the beneficiaries Mr Aremu Aaroon expressed his appreciation to the Thani-Oladunjoye Older People Care Center for restoring his sight without paying a dime.
“I am really grateful to Mr Thani Oladunjoye for helping to restore my sight.”
“He facilitated everything from our transportation to the surgery and other treatments.”
“He didn’t collect a dime from any of here. May God Almighty reward him with long life and sound health”
Another beneficiary Mrs Titilayo Adegbenbo also expressed her appreciation to the founder of the center Mr Thani Oladunjoye.
“I have been having sight problems for the past four years. This center have helped to restore my sight. I cannot thank them enough.”
“They transported us for the surgical operation and also gave us all needed medications free of charge.”
“May God continue to bless and elevate them.”
Established in January 2022, the
Thani-Oladunjoye Older People Care Center has provided general well-being for a multitude of older citizens in Epe and environs.
“Thursday’s surgical operation marks the 5th in the series of such interventions, making a total of 84 senior citizens who have benefited” the statement concluded
